Beauty, Art, Retro and Vintage Style, Old Hollywood, History, Metaphysics, Spirituality, and the Mystical

I am a makeup artist available for bookings in the San Francisco Bay area. I enjoy playing with "face paint" to create or recreate looks that inspire me, and I have video tutorials at youtube.com/leawhitefeather

Aside from that, I am a writer and metaphysical practitioner, with another blog at yourmostbeautifullife.blogspot.com

On Oct. 10, 1949, Life magazine published a picture test made by Philip Halsman entitled: “Eight Girls Play Different Feelings.” It was an article about starlet beginners, and among them was a young Marilyn Monroe. The starlets were asked to express their feelings in 4 different situations (from L to R): receiving a kiss from a lover, listening to a good joke, facing a monster, and drinking a delicious beverage.
